Readmission is for students who have previously attended UC Davis, did not receive a degree, and wish to return to campus. If you have withdrawn or cancelled your registration at UC Davis, been dismissed from the university, or dis-enrolled for Entry Level Writing Deficiency, you must file for readmission before you can resume your studies.
How does the readmission process work?
You must first visit the Office of the Registrar for filing dates and to download and submit your Readmission Application. Pay careful attention to the filing dates for each quarter; it is imperative that your application be received no later than the Registrar's Office absolute deadline. However, students not required to take summer session courses to improve GPA or earn units toward minimum progress may wish to submit the application 2-3 months in advance of the deadline to secure a good Pass 1 registration time. Upon Registrar's office receipt of your readmission application, your current Dean's Office will be informed of your interest to return and will make the final decision regarding your request.
In addition, specific College of Biological Sciences readmission procedures must be initiated by the student to be considered for readmission. The following links direct you to appropriate information based on your academic status at the time of separation from the university and checklist requirements to complete.
1) Students in GOOD ACADEMIC STANDING
2) Students NOT IN GOOD ACADEMIC STANDING OR DISMISS STATUS
3) Students DIS-ENROLLED FOR ENTRY LEVEL WRITING DEFICIENCY
